What is a Church in Action Pledge?

A Church in Action pledge is above and beyond your regular giving. This is an offering to support our Church in Action goals between March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026.

How do I give?

There are four ways to give to Church in Action.

  • To give a one-time gift, click GIVE on the upper right corner of walnuthillcc.org, log in through Realm, go to Giving and designate “Church in Action” in the dropdown menu when choosing the Fund.

  • Write a check payable to Walnut Hill Community Church and note “Church in Action” in the memo.

  • Place cash in an envelope marked with your name and “Church in Action,” and place it in the offering box.

What your support of Church in Action helps provide

  • $10 a week provides food through our Walnut Hill Food Pantry to our local hungry neighbors in need.

  • $75 buys sewing materials for 100 dresses for missions.

  • $200 a month helps buy three prosthetic limbs for amputee victims from war-torn Ukraine.

  • $250 provides a small business loan to a family in Bangladesh.

  • $300 covers one month of support that Fountain of Hope provides to meet the needs (health, education, economic, spiritual) of a village in Cambodia.

  • $900 can pay for a flight to bring medicine, fuel and food for school lunches into a remote village located in a rainforest of Brazil.

  • $1,600 pays for a family of 4 impacted by disability to attend a Joni & Friends Family Retreat where they receive rest and spiritual renewal.

  • $5,000 supports the purchase and distribution of 200 children’s Bibles in Iran.

  • $10,000 pays for the cost of trauma training for the staff in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

  • $15,000 supports the operations of an orphanage for displaced Ukrainian children in Romania for one month.

Our Church in Action partners serve in places where they are actively persecuted and are under tremendous pressure. As they share their stories, think of ways or ask the Lord how you can pray for them and the ministries they represent.
